Katlin Bogyay, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture of the Hungarian Republic, visited the Danubiana on March 14, 2009. She opened Tolerance in Art, a joint Slovak-Hungarian exhibition which showed the works of two hundred artists from both countries. On this occasion, Gerard Meulensteen received from Madam Bogyay the distinction of PRO CULTURA HUNGARICA awarded by the Minister of Culture of the Hungarian Republic.
